Avoid Bed Bugs in the Dorm
When you’re checking out your new dorm now that you’re in college there is one thing you should check for: bed bugs. Make sure that you follow these simple tips to keep yourself infestation free!
- Roommate: If you have a room mate make sure to pay attention to his hygiene habits and the condition of his stuff. While you don’t have to be a spy or anything it doesn’t hurt to take a close look at his bedding at such to make sure there are no signs of any infestations.
- Surroundings: Bed bugs don’t have to come from a room mate they can come from a dorm down the hall. Bed bugs can get around when they need to especially if they’re able to follow some kind of piping or other small path. If you believe you see bed bugs especially near the walls make sure you notify the dorm director immediately.
