What should be the qualities of good PBX installers? In order to know, one must know what PBX stands for. PBX means Private Branch Exchange and is a telephone exchange system that is used by businesses and offices and connects all the telephone lines, fax lines and modems into a public switched telephone network through trunk lines. Through the PBX, organization and order among phone calls in an office can now occur. It performs four main duties: establishing connections between telephones of different users, maintain such connections as long as it is needed, disconnect the connections if requested and provides information for accounting purposes or metering the calls. A PBX installer is a person whose main responsibility is to manage and oversee the PBX system of a company and if requested, visits the offices and installs and upgrades the PBX equipment. An installer is usually someone who has an experience in the telecommunications industry and should have expertise and coordinates well with other technicians. They are important in maintaining the good performance of the PBX.
